Jason examined the gun in his hand. It resembles an ordinary pistol. Going back out through the router, he quickly scanned the surrounding area for the worm.
It was rather easy to find. It looked rather like a 50-foot earthworm with a gaping, toothy maw. It turned its head toward him, and Jason saw that inside its mouth, where a throat should be, was a film of skin covered in eyes. It lunged toward him, and he quickly took aim and fired at the film.
The gun let out a burst of greenish energy that quickly burned off most of the inner skin. Roaring in pain, the worm collapsed onto the ground and dissipated into binary code, which quickly faded.
"I like this gun."
"It's the only programmed gun that Dr. Jameson has been able to incorporate into Cyberspace. He's trying for a machine gun next."
"Excellent."
Jason and Tag then moved back towards the entry door. As Jason passed through it back into the browser, the world began to fade around him, to be replaced with Dr. Jameson's lab. "Excellent work, Mr. Truesdale. You performed admirably against the worm. Now, I'd like your help with some programming."
Between them, they developed a digital suit of armor in a few hours.
"We cam worry about graphics after we finish it. I'd like to try it out. Have any viruses?"
"I have one that I can pit against you. W32.Dozer, from the July 2009 Cyberattacks. I procured a copy and tried to trace it, with no luck."
"Alright. Let's try it."
After being loaded into Cyberspace, a suit of armor materialized around Jason, consisting of medium armor and a few wrist mounted guns.
"Mr. Truesdale," said Tag when he arrived, "I was told to tell you that several websites -" he pointed at a few new buildings "- were set up for the purpose of being infected by W32.Dozer. Let's see if you can drive it out."
Jason saw a black streak fly above his head.
"There it is," said Tag. "W32.Dozer. Go after it, and good luck."

I love the phrase "dissipated into binary code" that is great. Great chapter.
