The Marauder is the basic stunt fighter for the Cybernaught military. Originally designed to be piloted, it was later modified to have self-flight capabilities in the abscence of a pilot. Since the Cybernaughts have no access to natural psionics, they require "psy-mines" in order to effect any sort of warp. Capital ships can have such structures built in, but smaller ships need to rely of Orbital Psi-Production Nodes (OPNs) to generate the required disruption; thus, they can only warp to and from a system or location in which an OPN already exists.

The Hyena was created by the Xuul Confederacy primarily to investigate what large amounts of concentrated psionic energy could be capable of. Since the Plague Delta Quadrant Insurrection, however, Hyenas have been converted to Aerial and Deep-Space assault craft. These ships, though rare, are devastating.
The basic structure consists of a massive ring, a mile or more in diameter, with a large crystal of psionically charged iridium suspended in the center of the ring. It is from this crystal that the Hyena draws its devastating power, for such extreme psionic concentrations can cause localized "rips" in space and time, as well as breaking down certain laws of physics.
